An L.A. Institution, Brazilian Carnaval is the closest you can get to the real celebration. All Star band of highly acclaimed international musicians perform Carnaval hits. SAMBA DANCERS and CAPOEIRA, the traditional Afro Brazilian Martial Art dance show and 100-drummer participatory drum circle.
Percussion is the pulse of this year’s festival. Olodum, from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, is the group that created samba reggae, combining Brazilian samba with Jamaican reggae, merengue and salsa
